The Grifton Shad Festival is one of the most time-honored and longest running festivals in all of North Carolina. The Festival has been going strong for nearly 5 decades and we are proud to offer you the opportunity to enjoy five days of Down East Hospitality. The festival will feature a parade, clogging, magic shows, crafts, live musical entertainment, carnival rides, flea market, dancing, food, fishing competition, Shad Festival Queen Contest and more!
