On Saturday, May 2nd, Historic Davie will host the Daniel Boone Family Festival in Historic Downtown Mocksville. Featuring local artisans, historic re-enactors, historical tours throughout the county, food, contests, and live music, and a kids area with free pony rides, inflatables, and balloon artistry, there's something for everyone at the all-day event which starts at 10 a.m. The festival ends at 5 p.m., however, the entertainment continues until 8:30 p.m. at Junkers Mill Outdoor Theater.
