The NC Potato Festival is a fun-filled, family festival that celebrates one of Northeast North Carolina's largest crops -- Potatoes.

Northeast North Carolina's largest festival will return again on Friday, May 15, 2020 - bigger and better than ever. Bring the whole family and Come and Stay All THREE DAYS!

Food, arts and crafts, contests, live entertainment plus - a Midway full of games and large amusement rides can all be found in Downtown Elizabeth City.

Make a weekend of it and come and join us for the Opening Ceremony on Friday evening at 5:45 pm. Beer & Wine Garden will be open from 6:00-11:00 pm (Bring ID). Take a spin on a ride on our Midway, get something great to eat, and dance the night away at the 2020 North Carolina Potato Festival.

We're sure you'll want to return on Saturday and Sunday so you can be enjoy the Street Fair lining our downtown streets, the National Potato Peeling Contest, Auto and Motorcycle Show, and other events planned for this years festival.

Fun Run/Walk at 8:00 am. Don't leave too early or you might miss the USCG Search and Rescue demonstration over the Pasquotank River Saturday afternoon.
