The Gingerbread Festival is an annual holiday-themed family event that benefits the SECU Crystal Coast Hospice House. The Festival has evolved to include something for everyone. Adults and children are in awe as they stroll through the winter wonderland of holiday themed crab pot Christmas trees and inhale the sweet aroma of the gingerbread creations; all created by local designers, artists, florists, individuals, schools and community groups. Additional attractions include kids crafts, games, and Santa visits and holiday entertainment both Saturday and Sunday afternoon. A variety of concessions are available throughout the day at the Gingerbread Caf. The grand finale of the event is the Awards Ceremony, Sunday at 4pm, when the winners of the Gingerbread Contests and Peoples Choice Award are announced. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.
