People travel from across NC and our neighboring states to participate in the activities, to enter exhibits, to entertain our guests, and to enjoy the competitions of the Fair in Stanly County.

The American Legion Post 76 Fair Board is made up entirely of Veterans of our United States Military. They are humble hardworking individuals who have given of themselves unselfishly during war and peace times. Now they give again to make our home-town County Fair the event where memories are made and families can have time together.

The Committees that work along with the veterans are American Legion Auxiliary Unit 76 members along with family, community leaders, and volunteers from all walks of life. All are giving of their time and talents to provide an event for families to enjoy and businesses to connect with new clients.

We want to invite everyone to make plans to attend this years fair. From cheerleading competitions, greasy pig races, tractor pulls, animal shows and competitions to enhance your education of agriculture, spirit of competition, fun, and entertainment for the entire family! Put the dates on your calendar and get your exhibit entries, songs; pig chasing, cheerleading and other skills ready! There is more to see and do than you can take in on just one day.
