Description:

From Home Grown Arts Fest Website:

On Saturday, August 25, join us from 9am-2pm for the Home Grown Arts Festival, hosted by the Kernersville Arts and Crafts Guild. Local artisans will set up on the lawn of Krner's Folly to showcase and sell their creations. Visit for the festival and stay for a tour of the historic house. The Home Grown Arts Festival is free to attend. Regular Admission applies to tours of Krner's Folly. Adults: $10; Children (ages 6-18) $6; Children Under 5 free.

The house's architect, Jule Krner, was born and raised in Kernersville. It was here that he began his development as an artist, and later was able to fully express himself in designing and decorating the Folly. The Krner's Folly Foundation is pleased to continue his legacy by promoting local artistry and craftsmanship in Kernersville. Tickets to tour the house will be available the day of the event, so visitors can see Krner's Victorian masterpiece.

The Kernersville Arts and Crafts Guild is a nonprofit, community-based organization dedicated to helping artists and craftspeople exhibit and sell their work, promote the development of arts and crafts in the community, and support arts and crafts educational activities. For vendor information, please visit the "Home Grown Arts Festival" section of their website.

No food or beverages are permitted inside Krner's Folly, historic house museum.

Only registered service animals are allowed on the grounds of Krner's Folly.

Overflow parking is available in the grass lot located at 407 South Main Street, just north of the Krner's Folly gravel parking lot; look for parking signs.
