| Description: | From Harvest Festival Website: Every October this three-day event begins with a free Friday evening campfire and storytelling.
The Festival gets underway Saturday at 11 am and closes at 5 pm. Saturday admission is just $3/adult and free for kids K-12 and younger; parking is free.
Local artists offer their handmade crafts and foods for sale, and a demonstration of corn-grinding adds to the excitement.
The Country Fair features competition and exhibits of jams, jellies, pies, cakes, quilts, needlework and much more. There's even a quilt exhibit and the Quilts of Valor will also be on display.
There's always a 7:30 pm Saturday evening concert in the auditorium featuring a bluegrass headliner. Ticket prices: $25 Adults; Students / Children (K-12) $10.
The Schoolhouse Cafe will be open all day
The festival concludes on Sunday with a free gospel singing beginning at 2:30 pm.
