Dare Day Festival, A Fun-Filled Family Event

We invite you to join the 41st Dare Day on Saturday, June 4, 2016. Held on the Manteo waterfront on the Outer Banks of North Carolina where arts, crafts entertainment, and family fun bring the community and visitors together. The Town of Manteo in partnership with Dare County is presenting the 2016 Dare Day. There will be new additions to the activities to the festival this year so watch this website for updates and information.

The festival begins at 9:00 am at the Downtown stage and continues throughout the day with exhibitors and food vendor booths open until 6:00 pm. As the sun sets we gear up again with live music at the Boathouse stage along the waterfront boardwalk.

There will be new additions to Dare Day this year in hope that there will be something for every family member to participate and enjoy. Craft and food vendors will open their booths on the Manteo waterfront and surrounding areas with a variety of beautiful craft offerings and delicious foods. Children will be able to have their faces painted, and enjoy a variety of activities in the Kids Zone area of the festival. There will be a variety of musical groups performing throughout the day with a top name band performing at the end of the day that will end the day of festivities with a bang!!

Dare Day is a fun filled family event and is a festival you wont want to miss.!!
