Welcome to The Charlotte Woodcarvers Showcase of Woodcarvings 2016 the largest Woodcarving Show/Competition in the Southeast. Our event is a competition of over 800 carvings entered by over 120 carvers from 15 ********.***PETITION. There are 3 levels of competition: Novice (green tablecloths), Intermediate (blue tablecloths), and Open (burgundy tablecloths). Within each level, there are over 30 categories, such as Ducks, Human Figures, etc and then within each category there is natural and painted subcategories totaling over 180 subcategories to be judged.

CARVINGS and CARVING SUPPLIES FOR SALE. There will be hundreds of Carvings for sale by Exhibitors all carved by the Carver. Some carvings usually identified by the carvers business card will be for sale as well. Check with a Charlotte Woodcarver if you have questions on this. Vendors will have tools and supplies for sale.

FREE LESSONS FOR NEW CARVERS. Charlotte Woodcarvers will have a table for new carvers join the Club and get 8 WEEKS of free lessons. We can teach you to carve. We will assist you in purchasing supplies from Vendors at the Show
