Only a couple hundred feet if you attend the Mile High Kite Festival on Beech Mountain. Join us high atop beautiful Beech Mountain for the Mile High Kite & Craft Festival. Over 50 crafters and artisans will be in showcasing their works of art along with great food, music, kite flying, and fun for the whole family. We will have a kids fun zone with games, face painting and a bounce house too. Labor Day Weekend (September 5th and 6th) Beech Mountain is the place to be!
