HARVEST FESTIVAL
Third Weekend in October
October 16-18, 2015
Every October this three-day event begins with a free Friday evening campfire and music jam.
Saturday begins at 8 am with the Dry Creek Climb 5K race and a one mile fun run.
The Festival gets underway at 11 am and closes at 5 pm. Saturday admission is just $3/adult and free for kids K-12 and younger; parking is free.
Performers include the Stecoah JAM Kids, Graham County Line, The Britthaven Band, The Wilson Family, Grandpas Music, The Jones Girls, The Welch Family, Valley River Trio and The Oktoberfest Square Dancers.
Local artists offer their handmade crafts and foods for sale, and demonstrations of corn-grinding, apple cider pressing, rail splitting add to the excitement. Dont miss Breedlove Farms Fainting Goats and the horse show on the ball field.
The Country Fair features competition and exhibits of jams, jellies, pies, cakes, quilts, needlework and much more. There's even a quilt exhibit and the Quilts of Valor will also be on display.
