| Description: | From Gateway Festival Website: This annual Kings Mountain fall festival is celebrated all across town. From the Gazebo, Historical Museum and Commons area, the Joy Performance Center, Gateway Trail, Mauney Library and the Southern Arts Depot, a free trolley will carry you to all the locations continuously throughout the day. There will also be a Cute Critters Competition and a variety of music including Bluegrass, Folk, Old Time Gospel and Americana roots music. Re-enactors depicting life during the Revolutionary War years will share living history through demonstrations at their encampment and a battle re-enactment.
