The 9th Duck Jazz Festival presented by PNC returns to Duck on Columbus Day weekend in 2015. On Sunday, October 11, 2015, enjoy the free, non-ticketed, day-long festival showcasing national, regional and local jazz musicians on two stages. Gates open at 10:00 a.m. with live music starting at 11:00 a.m. This premier jazz event is designed to provide a unique entertainment opportunity for residents and visitors on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, and to encourage people to stay in the area and support local businesses. Businesses throughout Duck participate by offering jazz events in conjunction with the festival. The festival will take place rain or shine. Attendees are invited to bring food, coolers, chairs, blankets and pets.
