Cash Mob Supports Hiddenite Center Celebration of the Arts

On Saturday, September 28, 2013, a group of civic-minded shoppers gathered at the Hiddenite Centers Celebration of the Arts festival with their sights set on purchasing unique items from among more than 50 regional arts and crafts vendors. Cash Mobs are a popular way for people to come together with the intention of infusing the local economy with cash on a specific day and time. The Celebration Cash Mob focused on showing support for the many talented vendors who participated in the Hiddenite Centers annual arts and cultural heritage festival.

-Storytelling, clogging, dance theatre, quartets, gospel music, steel drum band & more!

Learn about our past in the Folklife Pavilion.

-Demonstrations of folk life and folk art forms are presented throughout the day.

Watch your children's faces light up.

-Face painting, clowns, balloon sculpting, games & prizes, moon walk and more.

Enjoy food and snacks from a variety of vendors.

-Greek specialties, fresh squeezed lemonade, funnel cakes, pit cooked chicken...yum, yum.
