Union County Heritage Festival is a free, family-friendly, county-wide celebration of life in Union County. The festival will be similar as in years past with a bit more emphasis on native plants, gardening practices, agriculture, and local food, with numerous free talks and demos by local experts. We will kick off the event Saturday morning with a 5K Wild Turkey Trail run/walk, and cap off the festivities on April 25th, in downtown Monroe, with a Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection.
