Blowing Rock Art in the Park is now in its 52nd year. The dates of 2014 Art in the Park are May 17th, June 14th, July 19th, August 16th, September 6 , October 4th. There are only 6 shows a year. The shows are from 10am to 5pm, and can be found set up behind the Blowing Rock city park. Art in the Park features 100 juried artists that exhibit a series of art and fine handcraft. The artists work includes: painting (oil, watercolor and acrylic), etching, stained and blown glass, basketry, wood carving and turning, clay, photography, fiber, jewelry and more. Blowing Rock Art in the Park is produced by the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce.
