For the eighteenth year historic Poplar Grove Plantation will mark the start of spring with its perennially popular Herb & Garden Fair.

Attend the annual Herb & Garden Fair to gain knowledge and inspiration on such diverse topics as vegetable gardening, herbs, cooking, composting, flower arranging and birds! We have a great group of local experts teaching for your discovery & pleasure. Be sure to visit the PLANT & GARDEN SALE, with a super selection of annuals, herbs, perennials, garden and nature art, herbal products, hanging baskets, vegetable plants, shrubs and trees, plus North Carolina wine, goat cheese and local crafts.

Historic Poplar Grove Plantation is a non-profit foundation beloved by the surrounding community and generations of southern families. Entrance to the Herb & Garden Fair is free. Donations are very much appreciated and are tax deductible.
Whether you’re an avid gardener or just like to smell the roses, you can shop or browse and then settle down to the slow pace of a genuine old southern plantation. Snacks and lunch foods sold throughout the day. The animal lovers at Poplar Grove request that pets be left at home during the Herb and Garden Fair.

No admission fees for the Plant & Garden Sale , donations are appreciated.
